Don't trust Siri to get you to many of the studios, or you could find yourself stuck in sand. My husband, Mitch Miller, will show is fine art prints on metal. My artwork (photography and fiber arts) have been on display at Gallery 62, the Art Colony of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley Town Hall, and the Joshua Tree National Park Oasis of Mara Visitor Center during the annual Art Fair sponsored by the Joshua Tree National Park Association. I was also juried into the the prestigious Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo, where I'll have a booth at the 29 Palms Inn, and the juried piece will be on display 29 Palms Art Gallery in September. The Art Expo is Sept. 15 & 16. In October 2018, I'll be stop #71 during the Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours, Oct. 13/14 and 20/21. Catalogs for Open Studio Art tours available at the CA Welcome Center and Rainbow Stew in Yucca Valley. At Gallery 62 and Coyote Corner in Joshua Tree. And in 29 Palms, at Mojave Sol. I began painting on trinket boxes in 2015 and participated in 8 Timeless Treasures shows in Huntington Beach and Long Beach. The first trinket boxes I did had a vintage feel to them, peace, love, flowers -- the 60' and 70's. I also had a very successful Patchwork show in Long Beach. Moving to Joshua Tree in 2017, I have fully embraced the desert and it has influenced my art beyond what I thought was possible. I then began painting a series I call, JT Night Dreams. These boxes are available at Mojave Sol in Twentynine Palms, Coyote Corner in Joshua Tree, and Rainbow Stew in Yucca Valley. JT Night Dreams are also available on canvas in sizes to 11x14. Just ask. Goddess Eyes is another aspect of my handmade art. These are made from naturally aged dead creosote sticks, often 100 years old. I select yarn with texture, vibrant colors, and colors I often seen in the desert, especially in spring. And in 29 Palms, at Mojave Moon Cafe.
